Tacoma police arrest DOC supervised offender for string of parking lot robberies

Описание: Prosecutors in Pierce County have filed dozens of charges against a man accused of targeting older victims in a series of parking lot robberies spanning months.

Tacoma police arrested Nathan Louis Smith, 27, on 47 counts, including robbery, identity theft, assault, and resisting arrest.

Smith was released from prison last spring and was under community custody supervision by the Washington Department of Corrections at the time he allegedly committed the robberies.

Detectives in Tacoma began noticing a pattern of parking lot robberies in October.
