Early 1974 in Germany: At the age of 14 I stumbled across KISS purely by chance. As a big Alice Cooper fan I had ordered some Warner Brother Samplers from the States. The double LP „Hard Goods“ arrived and I heard the likes of Ted Nugent, Foghat, Montrose and KISS (with their song "Strutter") for the first time. I was immediately hooked by KISS and a few months later I was the proud owner of the first KISS LP—one of my favorites to this day.
Years later I was able to see Kiss live in Frankfurt in 1980
1995: At a Kiss convention in Germany I was able to speak with the Spaceman and get an autograph!
R.I.P. Ace Frehley (1951-2025): Thank you for your magical music, Spaceman! Your leads and riffs were always unique and memorable!

PS. I love KISS Alive 1 + 2. Also a very strong live recording of the original KISS members is "Off The Soundboard - Live At Donington (Monster Of Rock) August 17 1996" - strongly recommended!
