Описание: Musician Gareth Hand wanted to be a music teacher, but couldn't afford the cost or time for a degree. The Open University enabled him to study whilst working, even when on international flights whilst on tour. In spite of his initial skepticism about the practicalities of study music at a distance, he really benefited from the diversity of the material which set him up well when he went into teaching.
