After Scotts twin brother John died because their father didn't come to his rescue, he felt dead inside. So now he wants to be saved, wants to ease his pain. And the only salvation he sees is to find a father who can save his own son.
Then, after some time, he meets Lauren, the mother of one of the children he killed. Scott slowly realizes that his horrible doing is driving him insane, that he loses control over what he's doing because he also kills innocent people, which are in the way. Lauren wants to be his partner, and he grows to like her. So what now? Can he be saved from insanity and start a new life for Lauren?
He's confused. There is the voice of his past, which he thinks is Johns voice. It says to continue his life as the Origami Killer, because it's the only way to get saved. And then there's Lauren, who makes him realize that maybe he has to stop all this. Which way must he choose, and can he really be saved after all?
