Llanhennock Lodge, a Leonard Cheshire-run care home for 34 adults with physical disabilities in Caerleon, closed on April 26, 2024. The closure followed a deregistration notice from Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) issued on January 18, 2024, due to serious failings in care, support, and management identified in inspections.
Now it lays vandalised awaiting demolition to make way for 10 homes.
