Just a simple axe restoration video. This is an old vintage 5.5lb axe that I have been holding onto for some time that I've finally gotten around to restoring. I didn't want to do to much to it in terms of modifying it or cleaning off the paint and patina, I simply wanted to get as much of the rust off as I could while maintaining as much of its character as possible.
The overall look and finish was inspired by the work of @TimothyDyck and what I've seen him do with his axe restorations. I really pushed for the vintage weathered feel, and I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
