Borges Machado is an experimental duo that works with improvisation and field recordings.
Their debut album, to be released on the 11th of June 2020, consists of sound art pieces inspired by urban soundscapes. Their recording process consists of discovering and recording a soundscape in the field, taking it into the studio, interacting with it and building a dialogue through free improvisation.
Performances take on an interdisciplinary approach bringing visual arts, movement and music together in order to create a unique sensory experience.
