Kollmorgen Servostar 600 Drive and Motor Test

I'm Tim with Global Electronic Services. This is a servo test stand that we built for the Kollmorgen servo Star Series drives and motors. First, we turn on main breaker, the control power, and the E-stop.

I'm going to start off with the Kollmorgen servo star 600. I'm going to enable it and hit start. Then I am going to choose a rotation, which will go clockwise and I will slowly speed it up. Then slow it back down, change the rotation and make it go in a counterclockwise direction. Slow it back down again, center the command stop and finally disable.

Next, I'm gonna move along to the Servo Star 300. I'll select the rotation, enable, and just wait for the drive to come up. Now it's rotating in the clockwise direction, so we will slow it back down and change direction again. From here, I'll speed it up and slow it back down, then center the command and disable.

Next, we will move on to the Servo Star CD. We will enable it, start and set it to go clockwise. We will wait for the drive to come up there and slow it back down. Once slow, we will change direction to counterclockwise and speed it back up. It looks good! Finally, slow it back down, stop and disable.

So, in the event that a repair comes in, our technicians can come in and grab the cart. They will take it out there to their work bench and can easily unhook the cords and pull it out. They can connect the drive or the motor to test to make sure that all the capabilities are working correctly.

Lastly, I'm going to shut everything back down and stop the control power and main break. Thank you.
