The tragic suicide of Bengaluru-based techie Atul Subhash has sparked a debate over India's marriage laws - on whether laws that were meant to safeguard women are being misused as a weapon to victimise the man.

In this video, senior Supreme Court advocate Geeta Luthra tells us exactly what goes on behind the doors in divorce cases. "I have seen many men on the verge of committing suicide. They beg, they plead. We should not victimise men in an attempt to try and be fair to women", she says.
