I got recommended this song and I had no idea what to expect from the art style. I certainly wasn't expecting the best song I've heard all year. It wouldn't leave me until I made this cover. The art was so fun, I loved trying the old anime cartoony style.

The lyrics really spoke to me as I was translating them. Oh yeah, that's right! I translated this time. The existing translations were not good! Very bad! For shame! This song is all about being the one who gives, fixes, props up other people all while you're burned out from taking on other's burdens. It's not that being support is bad, it's that doing it at your own expense will be harmful in the long run. There's also a sense this is happening in school and workplace settings, which, knowing Japan's heinously grindy work culture? Yeah. The Morse code that appears in this song is S.O.S., or "save our ship." When you're the "therapist friend," it can feel hard to reach out or accept you also are having a rough go. But my friend, it's worth it to try. Rule 2, do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them. Rule 8, do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
