This 7-minute video is a brief introduction to Alcohol-Facilitated Sexual Assault in Indian Country, a series of videos developed by the Office on Violence Against Women and OVC that will address key topics to assist sexual assault response teams as they develop or enhance their collaborative responses to sexual assault where alcohol was a factor. This video brings awareness to the issue, highlights many key points, and addresses some common myths around this topic.
The final video compilation will include professionals and victims discussing trauma, information about the effects of alcohol on assault victims, victim-centered responses, and two cases studies.
