My parents bought this tree in 1962, after they moved to AZ. I hated it when I was growing up. I always wanted a green tree.
Several years ago my parents were cleaning out the attic and decided to get rid of the silver tree. I took it off their hands instead. It's pretty fragile, so I only put it up every few years.
The tree is in a newer rotating stand. It makes one complete rotation per minute. And the color wheel is vintage, bought off eBay. I tried to give the video a vintage feel that would compliment the awesomeness that is The Silver Aluminum Christmas Tree!
