FOCUS ST GETS A BLOCK MOD AND FORGE BUILD | ENGINE REBUILD TO FIRE UP!

Liam's fantastic ST225 is nearly completed. A huge build on this which has involved a forge engine, block mod and supporting mods.

We carried out a block mod in conjunction with @pro4m_motorsport with all parts being inspected and cleaned with perished and consumable parts being replaced. This car runs more power than stock so a block mod is good preventative maintenance which we recommend.

For the forged build we fitted Mahle Motorsport pistons, BW Bridgeway forged rods, ARP bolts and studs, Mahle Motorsport bearings and a genuine Volvo/Ford head gasket. Upon inspection it was discovered that the original thermostat water housing was showing some seepage of coolant so this was replaced.

In addition to this we have fitted a Pro Alloy/SCC Performance exclusive breather plate and oil catch can set up, a Pro Alloy header tank with sight glass, MJP branded ancillary hoses by JS Performance and an Airtec oil cooler.
