In Euphoria season 1, Maddy's main colour is purple. But in season 2, she only wears it a select few times. Maddy's purple outfits are used for callbacks to season 1 (such as referencing her iconic I.AM.GIA carnival outfit) and flashbacks before the time period of season 2 (when she's bonding with Lexi). Samantha's purple dress is also significant. The purple is luxurious - which fits Maddy's aesthetic - but also references a new hope/outlook for Maddy's future.
