Описание: On this video, I will be exploring Wuxtry Records, the legendary record shop located in Atlanta, Georgia. Legendary? Yes! This is where Peter Buck used to work, and where he first met Michael Stipe (R.E.M.), back in 1980. Kate Pierson (The B-52's) and record producer Danger Mouse also used to work there. After Decades of operations, Wuxtry has curated an amazing vinyl collection that I am honoured to bring to you today. On this video, I will be exploring their Rock/Pop and Soul vinyl collection. However, more than just records, the shop itself is pure music magic. Its Leslie speakers make music sound as it should, and the space immediately takes us back to golden years when buying music was easy like Sunday morning. Mr. Mark Methe and Mr. Richard Kuykindall were behind the counter, ready to greet me and remind me of the way great record shops used to be. Mission accomplished, my friends!

Why am I making these videos? Because I hate to see record shops die. Streaming is NOT music. Streaming is just background noise. Buy CDs. Buy vinyl. Buy whatever physical format you like. Buy music. Buy movies. Buy books. Our culture is our biggest asset. It's not free. There is no feeling like sitting down in order to enjoy a music record by your favourite Artist, holding it on your hand, appreciating its artwork, reading liner notes, smelling the paper, putting the record on the player, and pressing the Play button.
