Hezbollah's second in command has warned the group will respond "in kind" to any Israeli attacks in Lebanon - and could attack civilians in Israel.
Speaking to NBC News, Naim Qassem said further escalation by Israel could lead to "complete confrontation".
There are fears the conflict between Israel and Hamas could expand into a regional war, sucking in Hezbollah, Iran and the United States.
