This film was shot in Ely Minnesota for my family's business. They run a kennel of 80+ dogs and bring guests into the wilderness using this age old method of transportation. Winter in northern Minnesota might be considered Arctic-like to some, but with the right clothing and a little effort, its one of the most beautiful places in the Midwest.
This film was meant to illustrate the WHY. Why the Hway family does it. Why the guides do it. Why the dogs do it. The Rush.
