"U-Haul Trailer" was written and recorded in Canada by Country and folk music recording star Cal Cavendish, and first aired on Canadian radio stations in 1971. As a tribute, we've added some images of U-Haul trailers from the 50s, 60s, and 70s.

When asked why he wrote the song, Cavendish said, U-Haul trailers represent the freedom a man has to look for, and they represent going on to something better in our society.
