Belmond Britannic Explorer makes its first visit to Cornwall - Typical Cornish weather!

Описание: The Belmond Trains Britannic Explorer made its first visit to Cornwall this weekend and unfortunately, the weather did not comply!

After many teething problems which have caused the tour to be cancelled on many previous occasions, it finally made its debut appearance in the Duchy hauled by a pair of GB Railfreight Class 66 locomotives along with a rake of 9 ex-Irish MK3 coaches in the very striking Britannic Explorer livery!

The 2 class 66 locomotives were:

66748 'St Michael's Mount'
66744 'Heart of Wales'

The tour originated from London Victoria, and after an overnight stop on the West Somerset Railway it made its way down to Penzance before heading back up to Fowey Dock Carne Point for another overnight stop before it made its way up to Bruton for the East Somerset Railway the following day

Unfortunately, I did have to cut the ending of the video short due to the quality being ruined as a result of a rain-soaked lens caused by the lovely Cornish weather!
