Expansion of Expedited Removal

Описание: The notice enables the U.S. Department of
Homeland Security (DHS) to exercise the full scope of its authority to place in expedited
removal, with limited exceptions, people determined to be inadmissible who have not been admitted or paroled into the United States and who have not
affirmatively shown, to the satisfaction of an immigration officer, that they have been physically present in the United States continuously for the two-year period immediately preceding the date of the determination of inadmissibility.

ICE will no longer adhere with sensitive zones policy. The sensitive zones policy, which was created in 2011, initially applied to places like churches, schools and hospitals. In 2021, the list of places was expanded by the Biden administration to include locations offering disaster or emergency relief and social services.
