The biggest Royal Rumble match ever is set to take place this year, but it won’t be on American soil. It’s going to take place in Saudi Arabia. It was announced today that WWE will do a 50-Man Royal Rumble match in Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27th at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which is an outdoor venue that opened in 2014 and holds over 62,000 people.
“The Greatest Royal Rumble will be a spectacle of historic proportions,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & CEO. “Our partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority reflects a long-term commitment to present WWE’s world-class entertainment to a global audience on a grander scale than ever before.”The Greatest Royal Rumble event takes place on Friday, April 27th from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
