The busiest train station in the UK always used to be London Waterloo. Then when the pandemic struck, Stratford had a year at the top (not Shakespeare's one).
Now the Elizabeth line is open, Waterloo can only muster third place - and in first is London Liverpool Street.
I was also surprised to find that its tube station is the third busiest on the Underground! Though I suppose all those passengers need somewhere to go. But how good is that place?
