Dr Michael K. Obeng designed specialized treatment protocols for all services at MiKO Med Spa, including micro-needling, chemical peels, Botox®, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment, and IV therapy. Dr Michael K. Obeng graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and then completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch hospitals. He also completed a hand, wrist and microneurovascular surgery fellowship at Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Dr Michael K. Obeng is a staff surgeon at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. He has board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Born in Ghana, Dr Michael K. Obeng faced and overcame tremendous obstacles and difficulties to become a leading plastic surgeon. He's never forgotten his roots, though. Dr Michael K. Obeng launched non-profit, R.E.S.T.O.R.E., to offer no-cost medical services to patients in African nations who suffer from birth defects, deformity due to accidents, and disease-related deformity.
