Check out Lachie's take-off approach here! He's in a modified pig dog position tailored for larger boards. Notice how he grabs the outside rail and positions his back leg and knee at the back of the board, while his chest is over his front knee, all while grabbing the wave with his hand. But here's the twist: because he's on a bigger board, maneuvering becomes trickier. He leans into the wave face, correcting the board's line, avoiding the lip. The result? An insane barrel.
