So... is everything a Cactus Club?

Описание: With King Taps opening at Lonsdale Quay, I was curious what we were getting- and found out that they have close ties to the quintessential North Shore restaurant, the Cactus Club Cafe. In this vid I talk a little bit about my personal theory for why so many of these Casual fine-dining chains originate in and around Vancouver, why this style worked so well here, and poke around in the family tree of western Canadian restaurants.

In other news, I have been really slammed with work over spring- I haven't had much time for youtube - but I have a lot of ideas!
In all honesty I think this video was more of an excuse to learn Blender than anything else, and I hope you enjoy watching it; even if the writing is a bit ditzy. I am travelling tomorrow and I have been editing this video literally until 4am every day after work for the last week LOL...

My goal is to make videos about niche local topics that people can watch while they eat, this one doesn't necessarily have any strong commentary or opinion to share. So I hope I achieved that!
