Hey everyone! Join us this week as we stay on the Florida-Georgia line and visit some Florida State Parks as well as Florida's capitol building in Tallahassee!
We stayed at Eastbank Campground in Bainbridge, Georgia, on beautiful Lake Seminole. From here, it was a short drive across the border into Florida's panhandle!
In this video we visit Three Rivers State Park in Sneads, FL. This park offers camping and hiking trails on 3.5 miles of beautiful Lake Seminole shoreline! We also visit Torreya State Park, the only place where a rare Torreya pine tree grows! This park is also home to the magnificent Gregory House, as well as an old Civil War battery, built to defend the Apalachicola River.
We also drive to Florida's capital city of Tallahassee, where we visit Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, home to a walled garden, secret garden, and a reflecting pool. We also stop by the Old Capitol Museum, a free museum housed inside the old capitol building. Here you can see how the capitol looked in 1902, and learn a ton of Florida history. For lunch we couldn't pass up on some tacos and asada fries at Chile & Chili's food truck in Tallahassee!
We hope you find this video helpful when looking for things to do in the Tallahassee area! We enjoyed our stay on Lake Seminole and this is a beautiful part of Florida worth exploring! Please like and subscribe to follow along with more of our adventures as we Wander America!
