MAC 110/1 is the Macpresse large recycling bailer designed for recovery large quantities of secondary raw materials from separate collections, such as OCC, mixed paper and wood.

In this video you can see the MAC 110/1 at work baling plastic, and wood in Resmal plant, a Material Recovery Facility in Italy.The mixed materials are deposited on the conveyor of the infeed platform, to be sorted manually and then conveyed to the MAC 110/1 baling press. Here the secondary raw materials are compacted in bales and tied up with baling wires. The MAC 110/1 baler is protected with wear-resistant HARDOX steel liners and its cutting system has blades tempered and wear-resistant, to optimize the excess material from the cutting process in the hopper.

MAC 110/1 balers is perfect to obtain optimized bale dimensions: bales can be easily stored and hauled using the most common methods, such as trucks, containers and railroad cars.
Thanks to the proportional valve, even with frequent changes of materials, the integrity and weight of the bales remain constant. Macpresse balers are equipped with a special hydraulic circuit that automatically adjusts the pressures from one type of material to another, providing maximum density on each bale.

We designed a baling system for plastic, wood and paper materials that optimizes storage and transportation costs. The bales’ dimensions are optimised to allow the best use of the available volume on the most common methods of transport - such as trucks and containers- and minimizing transport costs.
