Homemade Baked Caramel Popcorn! Using Microwave Popcorn

This is the BEST popcorn in the world and a special treat!
Items Needed:
2 Bags of Jolly Time Microwave Popcorn
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of Karo syrup
2 cups of brown sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Pop two bags of Jolly Time Microwave Popcorn, place in a sprayed heavy baking dish.
On the stove, in a kettle melt butter. Add Karo syrup and brown sugar. Bring to a boil. Let lightly boil for 4 minutes.
Remove from heat, add baking soda and vanilla.
Pour over popped popcorn, mix with a large spoon until the popcorn is covered.
Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. I have removed it from the oven in 45 minutes, if it gets too done.
Pour onto wax paper to cool.
