Hello everyone and welcome back to another deck guide! :]
The beginning of this video will take you through a clear and concise explanation of each of the cards used in this list and how to operate them best during a match. Furthermore, the strategy behind the deck is explained so that you have a clear image of what to aim for during a match.
I will now outline the strengths and weakness of this deck so they made aid you in your performance:
Strengths:
Copying: You can target your opponents valuable units and spawn them, playing them back. This requires a deeper understanding of the game and your opponents strategy, but with that knowledge behind you, you basically are playing two decks in the one with this list.
Seizing: You can steal an important unit with Vattier such as a strong engine. Additionally leader ability practically allows us to spawn a base copy of our opponents unit, meaning we can once again play something of importance back at them, whilst simultaneously locking what they have on the board.
Thinning: Our thinning package is very reliable and we typically get all the cards we seek by the end of a match.
Control: We have Yennefer and heatwave making our deck flexible against other factions out there. This also makes our deck reliable throughout a match, because we have a number of different responses to different circumstances.
Weaknesses:
Lack of good copy targets: If our opponents style of play doesn't provide us with adequate targets to copy and play back, our deck may suffer in performance, as our assimilate units rely on good units to copy, in order to increase their value and play for larger points.
Tall punish: Cards like Braathens and Terranova go pretty tall by the end of a match, so something like heatwave could be a big hit points wise.
Control decks: Vattier is only a 3 powered unit, so if defender gets removed he is highly at risk of being destroyed.
These are just some brief points that i have shared, if you would like to learn more about the list please watch the video for a concise explanation.
Thank you for your time and support!
