Not only did we find the car but we also tracked down the original owner that purchased it new in 1972, much to his surprise, as he never knew what happened to the car or where it went! Powered by a 351 Cleveland and backed by a 4 spd Toploader and 9 Inch, this Pepper Red GT sure is one very desirable machine!
The Ford Falcon GT is an Australian icon, starting off in 1967, known as the 'Mustang Bred' 289 powered XR GT Falcon, the name would continue for decades. One of the most memorable variants would have to be the XY GTHO Phase 3 for it's success in motorsport with drivers like Allan Moffat at the wheel, and also the mystery that surrounds the 1972 XA GTHO Phase 4 project that was shut down by the federal government.
