This is one of those mornings I will remember for a long time

Really really glad to finally get this shot in my portfolio. It’s an image I’ve been after for a long time and have tried on several occasions to make it happen though the weather has never been in my favour before.

On this morning however I was delighted to find all the conditions were perfect. Though all the viewpoints I scouted out initially weren’t suitable I had a contingency plan which worked out perfectly.

Being as I live local to this area I had a last-minute change of plan on this morning, I was supposed to be photographing the autumn waterfalls in the Brecon Beacons though when I left the house that morning I decided to go to this location based on the conditions overnight, and the fact it was a very very cold morning with a clear sky, I’m super glad I did

As with all landscape photography adventures some mistakes were made but on the whole I am thrilled with my images. I have had a few of them printed and I’m delighted that a few people have asked for copies of one of my favourites too after seeing it on my social media

This is one of those adventures where I was really glad to be filming and documenting my landscape photography adventures because I will always look back and cherish this video.
