Описание: I greatly admired legendary broadcaster Lowell Thomas (1892-1981) and had frequent contact with him in the final years of his remarkable career. In the 1970s I recorded a number of his “Lowell Thomas Brings The News” 7 p.m. radio newscasts over CBS Radio. The photograph of Lowell Thomas shown here seated before the NBC Radio microphone is from my collection and was personally sent to me by Lowell. Here is a group of three broadcasts, from Jan. 21, 1975, Jan. 22, 1975 and Jan. 27, 1975.
