My study will look into nutrition as a potential replacement for fungicides. The study will look into whether in the absence of fungicides, varying applications of nutrition can prevent or lessen the effects that disease may have on a crop of winter wheat.
I will achieve this via three plots within a field that will only be treated with a differing number of nutrient applications. As part of this study I would like to complete the Basis FACTS course and exam, in order to increase my knowledge around the subject of nutrition, fertilisers and plant health.
