Ananda Lila project are happy to present you a very special film dedicated to the sacred land of Purushottama also known as Utkala (the part of Odisha state in India). The word "Utkala" means the highest forms of art like architecture, painting, dance, poetry and music dedicated to Lord Jagannath (The Lord of the Universe) also known as Purushottam.
Skanda Purana says:
"This land is situated between Svarnarekha and Mahanadi reaching as far as Rsikulya that falls into the Southern sea. In this holy spot, there are many excellent shrines and sacred temples. Formerly they have been described to you, o Brahmanas, in the course of the pilgrimage by me. This land of Purushottama is said to be now Bhusvarga ("Heaven on the Earth")."
