How to Style Downturned Natural Lashes / Lash Extension Tutorial / Eyelash Mapping and Curl Mixing

Описание: Let's lash some downturned natural lashes today! I remember how much I struggled lashing and styling downturned lashes in the beginning. I vividly remember these things:

1. Sticking Eyelashes to the Eyepads: Which I now know is because the natural lashes squished downward, into the eye pads while I lashed so when I would place my lash extensions, the glue would connect to the natural lash and eyepad at the same time. I later recognized that I have to lift the lid slightly while lashing my downturned lashed clients (use an eye pad, a free finger or tape back the eyelid to lift) - If you'd like a full tutorial on this, please comment and I will happily make one for you

2. Poor Retention: The natural lash lift makes it necessary to adjust your hand and tweezer placement drastically in order to make a solid connection between the base of the extension and the base of the natural lash. If you are used to working on clients with lifted lashes, you may have become accustomed to a certain placement angle which will not work with downturned natural lashes and may result in misconnected lashes.

3. The mapping doesn't look good: I used to find that I was never happy with the outcome of the set when clients had downturned lashes, It wasn't until I realized that I needed to use a curl that provides lift while choosing lengths much longer than anticipated that I truly started becoming happy with the end result. Today's lash set looks natural, yet the lash length used was 14mm... I previously had considered 14mm lengths dramatic but now realize that some clients NEED this length, even to accomplish a natural lash result.

Additional Downturned Lash Tips:
1. Choose a lifted Curl / CC/D/DD/L/M
2. If wanting a cat eye lash look, use a squirrel lash mapping (aka kitten lash map)
3. Direct the outer corner UP, not out
4. If using wide fans for the set, bump to narrow, smaller fans on the outer corner to avoid drooping the eye
5. Map with the eyes open, always
