The Northwestern University "Wildcat" Marching Band performs their pregame show prior to the Northwestern at Michigan Big Ten Conference conference game on November 10, 2012.
The Wildcat Band's Pregame show consists of "Fanfare" (2011), "Downfield" and "Rise, Northwestern! (Push On)" (1915), the fight song of the University of Michigan (our hosts and opponents of the day), and "Go U, Northwestern!" (1912). Wildcat Band Director Daniel J. Farris also conducted the University of Michigan Marching Band in the performance of our national anthem.
The "Wildcat" Band is led on the field by Drum Majors Michael San Gabino and Will Ritter. Feature Twirler is Kali Maginity. Percussion captains are Justin Lueker and Alex Dale, instructed by Andy Emerich. The guard captain is Nicole Sheriko, instructed by Andy Toth. NUMB Graduate Assistant is David Regner. Graduate Assistants are Joe Higgins, Erik Leung, Geoffrey Miller, Lauren Whisnant and Laurie Bonner. The Director of Bands is Dr. Mallory Thompson, and the Director of the "Wildcat" Marching Band is Mr. Dan Farris. For more information about the band program, go to http://northwesternbands.org.
