In Beijing, CCP Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun addressed the firing of U.S. State Department Officer Daniel Choi, following an OMG undercover investigation. Guo stated the CCP has “no comment” calling it “U.S. domestic affairs,” but condemned “drawing lines along ideological differences” & “maliciously vilifying China.”
This marks a historic milestone - a foreign government publicly responds to an OMG investigation, as the State Department confirms it was the first-ever direct enforcement of Executive Order 14211 under the President’s Article II authority.
