The music of the Scottish-French-American trio Multifarious has only indirectly to do with bluegrass. Even though banjo player Paul Elwood has a past with bluegrass pioneer John Hartford.

The trio weaves inventive improvisations amongst the diverse sounds of their instruments in what some have called an “enhancive 21st-century folk experience.”
