Happy Day 7! We have officially hit the one-week mark of my 365-day challenge, and honestly, I’m feeling so proud of myself. [00:00] Today was the home stretch of my 3-day water fast, and let me tell you, the universe really tried to test me! I had a work luncheon today with some of the best-smelling jerk chicken I’ve ever encountered, not to mention hunks of chocolate cake just sitting there staring at me. If you know me, you know cake and cupcakes are my total kryptonite! [02:48]
But guess what? I stayed strong, resisted the temptation, and just asked for a to-go plate for Jose. [03:20] I’m not breaking this fast until after 9:00 PM tonight, and even then, I’ve got to be smart about what I eat after three days of nothing but water. I also managed to get in a peaceful 30-minute solo walk through a beautiful part of South Florida that I usually don't explore. [05:22] To top off the day, I finally stopped by LA Fitness to check out the facility—it’s huge! I still need that tour, but I’m making moves. One week down, 51 to go!
