I went to the Rockville Amtrak/MARC Station, and I caught two trains which was a CSX Mixed Train along with Amtrak Floridian Train #40.
The Floridian has been a thing for over a week now. The last time it has ran was in the 1970s but on November 10th, 2024, it has made a comeback temporarily discontinuing the Capitol Limited and Silver Star services. This is because the East River Tunnels that connects Queens and Manhattan in New York on the NEC, is being renovated after Hurricane Sandy in 2012. The Floridian operates between Miami, FL and Chicago, IL.
