Super delicious, traditional and easy to make, these biscuits are usually served during the Christmas holidays, we think they are perfect for any occasion
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup sunflower oil
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup cognac, brandy or rum
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
zest of 1 orange
3 cups of flour
100g slightly crushed pecan nuts
Bake at 175 degrees for 35 to 40 mins
SYRUP:
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
3 tbs honey
pinch of salt
juice of 1 lemon
