Hi guys, come join us on our first tour around the magnificent country of India! 🇮🇳

We couldn’t believe the day had finally come. If you’ve been following us, you probably know India was a bucket list destination for us, and we were so thrilled to finally arrive.

Even the pile of documents and forms we needed to complete didn’t kill our excitement.

As we were flying from Kuala Lumpur International Airport, we took a train from the downtown to avoid traffic. Since this was earlier in 2022, we still had to jump through a lot of safety hoops, but at least the process was fast and easy.

It also gave us a little time to take you on a tour around the Kuala Lumpur Airport before we boarded our flight. As one of Southeast Asia's major aviation hubs, the Kuala Lumpur airport is lined with shops, cafes, restaurants, and lounges, which makes it look more like a shopping center.

Soon it was finally time to board our flight to Kochi, Kerala. Luckily, it wasn’t a long flight - only about 4 hours - and the food was pretty tasty.

Crossing the border was easy because we had all the necessary documents, and since we already had transport organized for us, we just hopped in the van and headed for our Home Exchange.

Now, this was a longer drive, about an hour from the airport, and we were happy to get some rest after such a long day.

In the morning, the house attendant brought us some delicious home-cooked breakfast. While the girls were doing some school, Chantal & Julia went out to get some essential groceries.

Later in the day, we all went out to explore the village and meet the locals.

This is just a short snippet of our 40 day trip around India, so stay tuned for more incredible footage from this mesmerising country.
