Ramkung Pamei is a journalist, social leader, and Christian theologian with decades of experience in media, community leadership, and youth development. He has held key editorial roles with publications such as Tazei Cham, DihCham, and The Cham, and has worked as a stringer/correspondent for major national and international media houses including PTI, Doordarshan News (DDK Imphal), Imphal Free Press, The Sangai Express, ANI, and Reuters.
Beyond journalism, he has been deeply involved in social and organizational leadership—serving in roles such as ZSUTD Secretary, ZU Tml Zone Secretary (I&P), RNCM President (2021–2023), and JTC (ILRZ) Convener (2021–2024)—and has contributed to rebuilding and strengthening student and community institutions. A strong advocate of holistic development, he has actively supported sports by organizing tournaments and sponsoring local clubs.
As a committed Christian leader, Ramkung Pamei serves as Secretary of TCC and holds advanced theological degrees, including a Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Doctor of Ministry (DMin).
