I love squash like no other plant I grow in my garden, except maybe the flowers. They are just so whimsical in the garden, vining all over the place and flowering the most beautiful flowers. Then they hide their fruit under those bog vines for us to find the fall. It always feels a little like a treasure hunt harvesting them. We didn't just harvest the squash today but also all the rest of the broccoli, a little corn and some dill. Then, it was off to the kitchen to preserve it all. I hope you enjoy coming along with me.
