I had purchased this light a few weeks ago to be used in the garage and at times when light is low while i'm doing work outside the house while cutting up some wood. Inside the box includes a pretty long usb-c cable to charge the light and the light itself hooked up to a ball which connects to the clamp. This clamp is pretty solid and heavy and could take a beating.
Lets talk about the pros of this light first:
PROS
The light is durable. Seems like you can drop it a bunch of times and it will still work. It is storm proof and dust proof. The light is pretty bright and has 3 settings press it once for low setting, press it twice for medium setting and three times for the brightest setting. When you power it on there will be green light indicators each bar representing 25% of the power remaining. Four green light bars illuminated indicates that it is fully charged. I had this light on at medium power and it lasted a few hours, which is all i needed. You can charge the light using a USB-C cord. Next to the USB-C connector is where you can plug a USB plug. This allows you to use the power from the light to power or charge another device like a cell phone. The clamp is very large and feels very sturdy. you can use the clamp use the light hand held, clamp it onto a pole of some type, or a 2x4. The clamp has rubber grips around it so it can help grip what you are attaching the light to. The light is attached to a ball which can be adjusted to different positions.
CONS
although the clamp is very strong i would keep it away from clamping it onto a vehicle. I wish this clamp had magnets attached to the bottom so that you would be able to attach it to a vehicle while you are working on it if people decide to clamp it onto a vehicle you could damage the vehicle. If you use this clamp as a stand it limits the way the light can be adjusted. Because of the design of the ball attachment to clamp it limits you from angling the light. Maybe if the ball attachment wasn't so deep into the clamp and was able to rotate or have the capabilities to be adjusted some how it would allow the user to angle the light without limitations. The spread of light isn't big if maybe a round diffuser was used it would allow the light to spread more evenly.
overall this light is very useful in a work environment, but has its limitations as well. The best way to position this light to get the full use of it is to position it high on an exposed 2x4 or bring your own light stand so attach the light to a pole. This light is a beast and would be even more badd ass if it had a magnetic attachment and less limitations to the positioning of the light.
