There are various problems with strategy games set during the second world war that allow you to play as Germany - something that gets even trickier when there are Axis focused campaigns. In this uncharacteristically serious video, we look at the problems with WW2 in strategy, tactics and RTS games. We talk about common myths, and how these games tend to further them every time they distort reality to make gameplay palatable. We also talk about the reality - which is unpleasant but necessary context.
