Have you been to Central Park in New York 뉴욕 센트럴 파크? If you live closer to Seoul 서울 than New York, why don't you visit Yeon-tral Park 서울 연트럴 파크 in Seoul first?
Yeontral Park is a local name of Gyeongui Line Forest Park 경의선 숲길 in Seoul.
What's the meaning of Yeontral, then?
Yeontral is the combination of Yeon-nam dong 연남동 and Cen"tral" Park in New York. Yeonnam dong is the neighborhood where the park lies and the park has something in common with Central Park regarding its location and shape.
Gyeongui Line Forest Park 경의선 숲길 was built where Gyeongui Line Railway used to run through. The railway went underground, then the area has been transformed into the beautiful park.
Gyeongui Line Forest Park covers part of Hongdae 홍대, the home to young people. You can take a look at Hongdae in this video.
