The highlight of this day has got to be Castle Acre a smallish village about half way along my walk. I spent quite a lot of time looking around the Priory ruins which were very impressive, I would have liked to have wandered around the castle as well but they are both run by English Heritage and admission gets a bit expensive.
There is a really nice little tea room there as well called Wittles, run by some very friendly people with excellent food.
The walk itself was a rural delight although there was quite a bit of road walking which got a bit tedious only saved by the surrounding countryside.
It was a good day, but I was glad when I eventually found somewhere to camp for the night.
