👓 It had been a while since either of us had our eyes checked, so we headed to Paris for an appointment at the eye doctor and the glasses shop to order some new glasses and sunglasses. As Americans living and working in France, we benefit from the French healthcare system, which means that affordable medical care is at our fingertips. For two eye exams, eye drops from the pharmacy, two pairs of prescription glasses and two pairs of prescription sunglasses, we paid a whopping total of 4.40 euros after reimbursement! We are so grateful that we have the opportunity to take care of our bodies and wear glasses we love at such an incredibly low cost. Come with us to the eye doctor, the pharmacy, and the glasses shop called Lunettes pour Tous to get an inside peek into the French healthcare system in action.
