The Education Department, led by CEO Oneel Kumar Bhat, has launched a 15-day Road Safety Awareness campaign in Ganderbal to reduce accidental deaths caused by road rash. The campaign began with a cycle rally from Mini Secretariat Ganderbal to GCOPE campus Gadoora, flagged off by ADDC Ganderbal Manzoor Ahmad Bhat in the presence of education and traffic officials.
Students from various educational institutions across the district will act as ambassadors of Road Safety, spreading public awareness through rallies, debates, painting competitions, and other interactive activities. The program aims to educate citizens about road safety and promote responsible behavior on roads.
